China reports trade surplus of US$26.7B in August

CHINA posted a trade surplus of US$26.7 billion in August, the General Administration of Customs said today. That compared with a surplus of US$25.1 billion a month earlier. Exports increased 2.7 percent from a year earlier, while imports dropped 2.6 percent.
