China's consumer inflation up 1.9% in December 2009
CHINA'S consumer price index, a main gauge of inflation, rose 1.9 percent year on year in December last year, the National Bureau of Statistics announced today.
It is the second straight monthly growth after the index ended nine months of decline in November.
The full year inflation was down 0.7 percent, NBS said.
