STAPLES China Chairman Jin Weiguo has been arrested on fraud charges, Xinhua news agency reported yesterday.
Jin's membership in the Shanghai Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference was also canceled, according to a CPPCC Shanghai Committee meeting.
Jin allegedly cheated to get bank loans through fake financial documents, Xinhua said.
