MNI index shows China business expanding in Dec
BUSINESS conditions in China continued to improve in December, though at a slower pace than the previous month, a preliminary reading of a business sentiment indicator showed today.
The monthly flash index that measures Chinese business conditions expanded for a fourth straight month in December to 52.23, but fell slightly from November's final reading of 52.78, according to Market News International, a unit of Deutsche Boerse Group.
A reading above 50 indicates business expansion, while a figure below 50 means contraction.
