CHINA'S central bank has appointed Li Dongrong, previously an assistant to governor, as a deputy governor to wrap up its latest leadership reshuffle. Li, 58, has spent his whole career at the People's Bank of China. He joins deputy governors Hu Xiaolian, Liu Shiyu, Yi Gang and newly appointed Pan Gongsheng, the central bank said yesterday. He was assistant to governor since 2008 and frequently delivered speeches about yuan issues.
