Philippines welcomes

THE Philippines welcomes Chinese construction companies to invest in the country's infrastructure sector, its Secretary of Trade and Industry Gregory L. Domingo said yesterday in Shanghai.
Domingo is leading a team comprising senior officials responsible for building roads, airports, seaports and telecommunications infrastructure on a visit to Beijing and Shanghai since last week.
He met with Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan in Beijing.
Domingo pledged his ministry "will do our best to create a fair and equitable business environment for foreign investors."
