SHANGHAI'S Pudong New Area reported an annual rise of US$5.187 billion in foreign investment contracts and a yearly increase of US$3.545 billion in realized foreign investment in the past five years, accounting for one third of the city's total, officials said yesterday, the 21st anniversary of the area's establishment.
