Slower growth for GDP
CHINA'S economy may grow at a slower 8.5 percent in the last quarter of 2011, and projections are that it may also expand at this same rate this year, economists said at a forum over the weekend.
But they said this slower rate of growth is tolerable and can help the country address problems in its economic structure. But China still needs to ease its policies selectively to avoid a possible hard landing, they said at the forum.
