SPAIN raised more than 7 billion euros (US$9.15 billion) in an auction of 12- and 18-month bills, though interest rates were up.
It sold 5.28 billion euros in 12-month bills at an average rate of 1.91 percent, against 1.84 percent in the last sale in August. It sold 1.76 billion euros in 18-month bills at 2.15 percent, compared to 2.08 percent last month.
