Sprawling China Exposition project under way in Hongqiao

Construction started this morning on China's biggest exhibition complex in the city's Hongqiao business district.
The China Exposition project will cover about 100,000 square meters of land and have 400,000 square meters of indoor show space for domestic and international trade shows.
The government-funded project will become one of the largest exhibition venues in the world when completed with easy access to the airport, high-speed railway, Metro lines and intercity bus station because it is next to the Hongqiao Transportation Hub.
