Trade talks with SK, Japan
CHINA is to hold three rounds of trade talks with South Korea and Japan this year and step up talks with other trading partners, the Ministry of Commerce said yesterday.
The first set of talks on a three-way free trade agreement will be held in Seoul, South Korea, from March 26 to 28. They will then move to China, with a third leg to be held in Japan, spokesman Shen Danyang said.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said last week that Tokyo would be seeking to join the US-led Trans-Pacific Partnership.
