ASU facility

AIR Products and Chemicals Inc and China National Offshore Oil Corp have launched China's first air separation unit (ASU) facility that uses liquefied natural gas cold energy to produce industrial gases.

The joint venture plant in Putian, Fujian Province, is capable of producing more than 600 tons per day of liquid oxygen, nitrogen and argon to supply industrial customers, according to Air Products.
