BRIC contributes
GERMAN specialty chemicals maker Lanxess said a third of its global turnover came from the BRIC countries and it is looking to investment in China.
Asia has already recovered to a pre-crisis level but it takes time for Europe and the United States to recover, said Axel Heitmann, chairman of Lanxess AG.
The company said it hopes to grow further in China organically and acquiring local firms.
"Mergers and acquisitions are always a vital part for us to grow profitability in China," said Martin Kraemer, CEO of Lanxess China operations.
