Baoshan steel's general manager moves to Wuhan firm
MA Guoqiang has stepped down as general manager of Baoshan Iron & Steel Co, China's largest listed steel company, to join Wuhan Iron & Steel Group.
The 50-year-old Hebei Province native was appointed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission as the general manager of the central Hubei Province-based steel company, Wuhan Steel said in a statement today.
He was replaced by Dai Zhihao, vice general manager of Baosteel Group Corp, parent of Baoshan Steel.
Ma became the vice general manager of Baosteel Group in 2001 and general manager of Baoshan Steel in 2009.
