Baoshan Group Corp has cut its production capacity target for 2015 to 60 million tons from 80 million tons, media reports said.
China Business News cited Chairman Xu Lejiang as saying the company is becoming more cautious and sober after the financial crisis.
"The goal is subject to change depending on macro-economic conditions and the firm's progress in mergers and acquisitions," said Xu.
