Energy prices stay unchanged
AN expected adjustment in China’s gasoline and diesel prices didn’t occur yesterday because global crude didn’t fluctuate enough to trigger the mechanism used to set prices.
Crude oil prices have slightly dropped in the past two weeks in world markets.
The National Development and Reform Commission, the country’s top economic planner, said yesterday that prices of refined oil products would be unchanged from the past two weeks.
The latest price adjustment was on June 8.
The market expects no sharp rebound in oil prices in the long term.
