Glass futures OK

CHINA'S State Council has approved a plan by the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange to launch glass futures. The contracts will start trading soon on the Henan Province-based bourse, Zhang Yujun, assistant to the chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, said yesterday in Guangzhou, according to Xinhua news agency. Preparation for other commodities futures like coking coal, potato and egg is also in progress, he said.
