Haier eyes east China

ENERGY efficiency has become a killer application in the central air-conditioner market, especially in east China region where enterprises and organizations require energy-saving features, Haier said yesterday.
Haier aims to penetrate into sectors like residential, hotels, medical organizations, Metro stations and other public facilities in east China, through its new central air conditioners which saves 55 percent energy.
In the first half of this year, Haier’s sales of energy-saving products jumped 30 percent year on year.
