Nod may resume
CHINA, the world's biggest energy user, may resume approval of new atomic power stations in the second quarter after the completion of a government safety review prompted by the Japanese nuclear disaster last year.
The National Energy Administration has almost finished revising its plan for the long-term development of the nuclear industry, and the State Council, or Cabinet, may approve it in the second quarter, Li Yongjiang, vice president of the China Nuclear Energy Association, said by telephone from Beijingyesterday.
