PPG to recruit
PPG Industries is planning to add staff in China to tap the fast growing demand and expand its footprint.
The world's leading coating firm saw the fastest or biggest potential in the industrial coating segment in China, which includes automotive and packaging. Consumer electronics, architecture coatings and marine coatings also grew significantly.
Meanwhile, it is taking advantage of the green awareness as about 25 percent of PPG's sales came from green products in the last two years. Green sales in 2009 accounted for 26.4 percent, and 24.6 percent in 2008.
