Sapa's plant deal
SWEDEN'S Sapa Group, an aluminum maker, yesterday signed an agreement with China's Jiangyin (Haihong) Non-Ferrous Materials Co to acquire its aluminum extrusion plant in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province.
The facility is capable of producing 60,000 tons of products a year and is one of the largest extrusion operations in the Yangtze River Delta region, Sapa said yesterday, without disclosing the deal value.
The agreement needs government approval.
