SAUDI petrochemical giant SABIC today launched its US$100 million Shanghai technology center to boost local research and development capabilities.
The facility, in the Pudong New Area, will also serve as SABIC’s new China headquarters.
It will focus on materials application development for consumer electronic products, construction, clean energy, medical equipment and transportation.
The center is one of SABIC’s 17 R&D centers worldwide.
