Venezuela deal
WISON Engineering Ltd, China's top private-sector chemical engineering and construction service provider, said it has won a contract to help upgrade a refinery in Venezuela.
A consortium between Shanghai-based Wison and South Korea's Hyundai Engineering & Construction was awarded the US$3 billion contract from PDVSA, Venezuela's state oil company on Wednesday. Wison will receive a share equivalent of US$927.8 million, it said in an e-mailed statement yesterday.
