Aerospace plays lead gainers in Shanghai stock trading

THE aerospace industry led the gainers on the Shanghai Stock Exchange today. The Shanghai Composite Index gained 1.37 percent to close at 2,266.05 points.
China’s first BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) application summit opened today, aiming to design further plans to strengthen the sector. The BDS is expected to be able to serve global needs by 2020.
China Spacesat surged 9.98 percent to 21.93 yuan, while China Aerospace Times Electronics increased 9.05 percent to 15.31 yuan.
