AgBank VP quits

THE Agricultural Bank of China yesterday said its Vice President Yang Kun has resigned for "personal reasons." The resignation took effect yesterday, the bank said in a statement filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The statement said Yang did not have any disagreements with the bank's board. On May 30, the bank said in a statement that Yang was "assisting in an investigation" but did not elaborate on who was conducting the investigation or what the investigation was about.
