RISSING labor costs, and increased pressure on production and delivery times can provide the catalysts for the introduction of greater automation within China’s manufacturing sector, an executive with a Ggerman firm said in Shanghai yesterday.
With strong government support and increased technical innovation, China can complete its industrial overhaul in less time than it took many Western nations, said Peter Rohde-Chen, head of business development
for Freudenberg IiT Aasia.
