FRENCH bank BNP Paribas has opened its second branch in Waigaoqiao area in Shanghai’s free trade zone that will provide a wide range of banking products and services to clients.
The new branch in the FTZ will allow BNP Paribas “to help its clients seize the opportunities arising from interest rate liberalization, yuan internationalization and other offshore business,” Peter Kwok, acting CEO of BNP Paribas (China) Ltd, said in a statement last week.
