Bad loans stay low
Bad loans at banks in Shanghai stayed low last month, with their exposure to cash-strapped steel traders under control, the local banking regulator said yesterday.
They posted a bad loan ratio of 0.6 percent, similar to the level at the start of this year. Their exposure to steel traders was at 1.3 percent.
