Broker's profit jumps

CITIC Securities yesterday said its net profit jumped 13.12 percent from a year ago to more than 2.97 billion yuan (US$459 million) in the first six months of this year.
Revenue dropped 5.02 percent from a year earlier to 7.5 billion yuan during the same period, China's largest listed brokerage said in a statement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
