CHINA’S banking regulator said yesterday that it will expand video recording of how wealth-management products are sold nationwide so that consumers are protected.
The China Banking Regulatory Commission said in Beijing yesterday the video recording trial, rolled out in Shanghai at the start of the year, will go countrywide to cover not only wealth-management products but also other financial products sold by banks on behalf of third-party vendors.
