THE China Securities Regulatory Commission plans to allow futures companies to start investment consulting operations, the Economic Observer reported yesterday.
It said it is considering granting investment consulting licenses for qualified futures companies. Futures companies should focus on analysis and trading consultancy rather than wealth management services.
