Court launches English version of its website
SHANGHAI’S pilot free trade zone court launched a bilingual website yesterday (www.ftzcourt.gov.cn), providing English speakers access to court news, trial studies, a litigation guide and other related information.
The court has heard 335 cases since it was established on November 5 last year. The majority — 80 percent — were commercial cases concerning investment and trade. Others were financial, intellectual property rights and real estate cases.
And the zone now has its own public security bureau.
Affiliated to the municipal security bureau, the zone’s bureau launched on Saturday will ensure public security within the 29-square-kilometer Waigaoqiao and Yangshan free trade zone area, as well as at Pudong International Airport.
