Customs reforms
CHINA’S customs regulator last week unveiled a plan to promote reforms on customs management they have been testing in the Shanghai free trade zone to the entire country.
From today, a package of measures initiated by the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone to simplify clearance procedures will be expanded to 51 special economic zones along the Yangtze River, the General Administration of Customs said in a statement on its website on Friday.
Clearance facilitation measures will be applied to special economic zones across the country from September 3 and to areas beyond these zones from September 18.
