Deutsche Bank appoints Lin to head mainland corporate banking

DEUTSCHE Bank said it has appointed Anthony Lin as head of corporate banking, trade financing and cash management for corporations in China’s mainland.

The appointment of Lin was effective last month. Based in Shanghai, he will be responsible for driving the growth strategy of the bank’s corporate banking business in the mainland, the lender said in an emailed state-ment dated yesterday.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Lin was head of transaction banking at Standard Chartered Bank in China. He was also the general manager of Standard Chartered’s Shanghai branch.
