Deutsche Bank makes new appointments

DEUTSCHE Bank appointed Frank Wu as head of structured commodity trade finance and Evert-Jan Zondag as head of structured trade and export finance in global transaction banking at the lender in Asia Pacific.
Wu, based in Singapore, is responsible for expanding the lender's structured commodity trade finance business in the region, particularly in China, in response to the lender's growing client demand in the market, Deutsche Bank said in a statement today.
Zondag, based in Hong Kong, is responsible for strategic growth of the bank's structured trade and export finance business throughout the region.
Both Wu and Zondag will report to Kaushik Shaparia, Asia Pacific head of trade finance and cash management for corporates at Deutsche Bank.
