Executive income curbs

CHINA'S insurance regulator yesterday introduced new rules to curb incomes of executives to improve performance assessment and risk management.

The performance-based salary should be set at a maximum of three times the basic salary. Also, at least 40 percent of the salary should be deferred for three years to stop executives from seeking immediate profits.
