Funds hedge on China

AROUND 25 percent of hedge fund investors see opportunities in the Chinese market in 2015, up from 11 percent in 2014, an annual alternative investment survey by Deutsche Bank showed yesterday.
The Asian region is expected to be a key beneficiary of investment flows, with 26 percent of investors opting for India, the survey by Germany’s biggest bank revealed.
The report, covering 435 hedge fund investors from 26 countries and regions managing over US$1.8 trillion in assets, forecast the assets under management to beat US$3 trillion by the end of 2015.
