Gloomy job market
JOB applicants in China are likely to face a generally gloomy employment environment this year, but the Internet and securities sectors offer some bright spots, online recruitment portal Zhaopin.com said in a report.
An index measuring the availability of jobs for each job applicant edged up in the fourth quarter of last year to 2.09 from 1.96 in the third quarter, the report said.
But the overall reading last year lagged the 2014 level and the decline is set to continue this year, indicating a more difficult job environment for job seekers, Zhaopin.com said.
But e-commerce and investment services will offer better job opportunities as they tapped government initiatives to integrate the Internet with various industries.
