GRANT Thornton last week announced the opening of its office in the Shanghai free trade zone.
Taking advantages of financial reforms in the zone, the global audit firm said it will cooperate with domestic and foreign banks to support its international business.
The firm said in a statement that it provides a full range of services including auditing, customs, tax, finance and accounting, and consultancy. It hopes its office in the zone will build closer ties between clients and the government.
The firm joins Deloitte among the “Big Four” auditing firms that has an office in the zone.
