Hong Kong’s overall gross domestic product rose 3.3 percent over a year earlier in real terms in the second quarter of 2013, accelerating from the 2.9 percent gain in the first quarter, the Census and Statistics Department said yesterday. Analyzed by constituent services sector and on an annual comparison, net output of all the service activities taken together grew 3.7 percent in real terms in the second quarter, compared with the 2.8 percent growth in the first quarter.
