HSBC Holdings Plc has launched a mutual fund in the US that invests in yuan-denominated fixed income products in offshore yuan markets, including bonds and deposits, to provide American investors with more investment opportunities.
The London-based lender said yesterday in a statement that the expansion of the offshore yuan market has attracted more overseas investors to invest in offshore yuan products.
