Help for certification bodies
CHINA has cut restrictions for setting up foreign certification agencies in the Shanghai pilot free trade zone.
Foreign investors intending to open a certification body in the zone are no longer required to get approval from accreditation agencies in their home countries, according to an announcement on the website of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China.
The administration also scrapped a restriction on foreign investors having at least three years’ experience in certification before they can open a certification agency.
