Internet security shares boost index

SHANGHAI shares rose yesterday as the market was helped by the strong performance of Internet security companies.
The Shanghai Composite Index added 0.26 percent to close at 3,572.88 points.
Bright Oceans Inter-Telecom Corp surged by the daily limit of 10 percent to 19.73 yuan (US$3.04), while Beijing Xinwei Telecom Technology Group Co rose 5.03 percent to 27.56 yuan.
