OCBC files for license
OVERSEA-CHINESE Banking Corp, Southeast Asia's second-biggest bank, planned to file an application for a fund distribution license on Chinese mainland next week to lift income from its retail banking business.
OCBC will be the sixth overseas bank to apply after Standard Chartered Bank, Citigroup, United Overseas Bank, Bank of East Asia and Hang Seng Bank.
