CHINA'S central bank yesterday denied media reports that it has relaxed restrictions on home lending and reiterated their prudent stance on property sector regulation. The People's Bank of China said recent reports stating that it has allowed commercial banks to offer a discount of up to 30 percent on lending rates to first-time homebuyers contain "deliberate misinterpretations."
