BANK of East Asia (China) Ltd registered a strong performance in the first half of 2010.
As of 30 June, total loans outstanding at BEA China rose 17.9 percent from a year ago.
BEA China increased its deposit base by an annual 41.6 percent, bringing the loan-to-deposit ratio down to 96.5 percent at the end of June.
