Top 5 complaints
THE top five complaints filed by banking customers last year covered credit cards, personal housing mortgages, bank charges, bancassurance, and wealth management products, the China Banking Regulatory Commission Shanghai office said yesterday.
The credit card complaints received last year took up for more than a quarter of the total complaints, while the five categories together made up almost 70 percent of the total, said the local bank watchdog.
The regulator vowed to offer better protection for financial consumers this year.
