Top thinkers visit city’s innovation community

Members of the International Business Leaders' Advisory Council, an international think tank for Shanghai mayor consisted of top executives of the world's leading corporations, visited the Knowledge and Innovation Community in Yangpu District this afternoon as a prelude for this year's IBLAC forum.
They will give their views and share their experiences with Shanghai Mayor Yang Xiong tomorrow at the 25th IBLAC forum, which carries the theme "Building up Shanghai's Soft Power."
The IBLAC forum was initiated in 1989 by Zhu Rongji, then Shanghai's mayor who later became China's premier. Zhu envisioned it as a platform for the world's top business leaders to provide strategic advice on Shanghai's development and the challenges ahead.
