CHINA yesterday unveiled a blueprint for an industrial park in Yantai to facilitate investment by enterprises from South Korea.
It is the first step in the Chinese government’s greater ambition to promote industrial parks following the signing of a free trade agreement between the two countries on Monday. Yantai has started construction and will encourage cooperation in high-tech equipment manufacturing, new energy, electronic information and oceanic engineering, as well as the modern tertiary sector, said Yang Li, vice mayor of the city in Shandong Province.
