MORE advanced and easier-to-use technologies and software for desktop 3D printers are making them more attractive in China, especially in the professional and education markets, MakerBot, one of the world’s top vendors of the devices, said yesterday.
Compared with industrial 3D printers, desktop machines are cheaper and more portable. MakerBot, which has sold “a few thousand” 3D printers in China, yesterday launched its new product range.
